System Tray

Snipsy lives in your system tray — always accessible, never in the way.

The tray icon appears as soon as Snipsy launches and stays visible the entire time the app is running. It serves two purposes:

  1. Quick access — left-click the icon to show/focus the main window
  2. Status indicator — the icon changes color based on the current state

Right-click the tray icon to access the context menu:

Idle mode:

  • Show Snipsy — bring the main window to focus
  • Quit — exit the application

Demo mode:

  • Exit Demo Mode — stop all hotkeys and return to normal
  • Show Snipsy — bring the main window to focus
  • Quit — exit the application

When you click the minimize button, Snipsy hides to the system tray instead of minimizing to the taskbar. Left-click the tray icon to bring it back.

The close button (X) will quit the application (with a confirmation dialog).
