System Tray
Snipsy lives in your system tray — always accessible, never in the way.
Always-On Tray Icon
Section titled “Always-On Tray Icon”The tray icon appears as soon as Snipsy launches and stays visible the entire time the app is running. It serves two purposes:
- Quick access — left-click the icon to show/focus the main window
- Status indicator — the icon changes color based on the current state

Tray Menu
Section titled “Tray Menu”Right-click the tray icon to access the context menu:
Idle mode:
- Show Snipsy — bring the main window to focus
- Quit — exit the application
Demo mode:
- Exit Demo Mode — stop all hotkeys and return to normal
- Show Snipsy — bring the main window to focus
- Quit — exit the application
Minimize to Tray
Section titled “Minimize to Tray”When you click the minimize button, Snipsy hides to the system tray instead of minimizing to the taskbar. Left-click the tray icon to bring it back.
The close button (X) will quit the application (with a confirmation dialog).
